Display problems

Installed PacWar under Windows2000 and all of the numbers and some of the letters of text within the game display as unreadable characters. Any ideas?

I had the same problem,so i went back to 98,let me know if you figure it out

ratman,
there was an earlier thread about this problem a month or two ago. Some PacWarriors attributed the unreadable numbers to a Win2000 problem, others shared the experience that this happens on Compaq computers regardless of the Windows-version used. Probably Compaq and Win2000 are different problems with the same symptoms. There were lots of suggestions how to solve this. Didn't help for my Compaq, but perhaps you get some hints on Win2000.
