retal price lower?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Because the retail outlets can do with the prices whatever they want.

I'm not pissy, just gave a quick answer to a simple question [;)]

They get a price suggested, but they normally can adjust it to whatever they like after a certain period.

ok, I am deciding wether to getthis, could not get the demo going... do I have 30 days to add the boxed copy if I want? I need to get a portable hd and or dvd writer..
ok, decided it looked cool enough to get, no one here in Denver had it in stock, so I am doingthe download thing now...\
one thing that frustrated me with the cm games, they are great for what they are.. is the BUSINESS decision to not allow porting of scenarios from one engine to the other. sounds like you are going to release some add ons, and that is great.. as long as u allow modders to move stuff they create from one engine addon to the next ...cheers

If you purchase the digital download, you can't later add the boxed copy, if I understand your question correctly. My suggestion would be to purchase the retail box if you can as it includes a printed manual which the online boxed copy does not (yet).

Whoops, should have read ahead! Thanks for looking around at least, we do appreciate letting retail stores know that we exist when possible. [;)] And thanks for supporting Panzer Command!

I hope you enjoy the game. We have no intention of preventing porting of work from this game to future ones. The most that might be required is a few extra fields in the scenario or other modded xml files to support new features and we'll post info on that if necessary.

interesting new toy, the only thing that really bugs me is having to hit hte Shift key the move the camara right and left.. that is screwy, maybe there is another way? most other games use the corner system so u can do all this on one hand, mouse..

it would be nice to see smoke, and the graphics are interestingly odd, like when you see through roofs of Shurches and the back half of a tank is invisable exceipt for the treads??? I take exceiption to those who think cm has better graphics.. this is a nice little tank in the sand box game... linking the scenarios is a nice touch too. I think the issue with the mouse scrolling turning camara notwithstanding this should be fun for a long time

? will you guys host a folder of user made scenarios as ssg does with its r5 guys?

The middle button (scroll button) on the mouse does this as well. Just click it and hold to pan the camera around, I never use the Shift key.

Glad you like it - sure, the more scenarios the merrier and there's certainly room for a lot more.
