Issue with houses

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

eric,

any way you guys can make the infantry more like Close Combat.  This game would be awesome as a platoon/squad level game.

I think you would have more gamers move to PC from CM and CC.  I am not sure if you know, Combat mission shock force engine will be used to make a WWII game.  The new engine represents each soldier in a squad amoung other other nice features.

I really like feel and style of this game and would love for it to succeed and be discovered by others.

I'll take my answer off the air.

But that is an invitation to a clickfest. It is just wrong. Individual soldiers shouldn't be itemized in a game where the basic command structure is the platoon and the manuever element is the squad. In WWII the basic infantry unit for most of the war was the squad. Even today it is the fire team. You don't lasso a bunch of men from different organizations and give them orders.

Oh believe me, I hate the clickfest games.  Theater of war had so much potential.  The game was a complete clickfest.

Ok, I personally dont want to control the squads, but it would nice to see them represented.  Maybe additional orders can be given to the infantry platoon leader to flank or supress.  This way the gamer can concentrate on command while the commanders in the field use their own tactics (ai).

I just want to issue orders and let the commanders do their thing.  I'm not sure if it takes alot of programming to do this, but it would be nice to tell a squad commander to take a village and the ai takes over and starts the assault.  This is similar to the bound movement in the game.  I love watching the units provide cover to one another.
