Quick simulation

Post by rcleslie »

There may already be a thread regarding this so a good answer will be to refer me to same. Otherwise - regarding build 1.3.139 - is there a way to quick sim games to be played by teams other my own? I have set up a league with four divisions, six teams to a division. I control only one team and would like to set up quick sims for all games involving computer controlled teams. So far I have not been able to find any instructions on this in the manual. (I hope this is not a case of "had it been a bear it would have bitten me".) I also have some recollection of running across a discussion of quick sims, but cannot track it down.

Here is what I do, I play the game with my team, when its done I click on one of the other games and choose quick aim, then when the screen comes up that lets me choose just that game, all the games that week or all the games that season, I choose all the games that week.  The game wont replay the game you already played, will just sim all the rest of the games that week.

nmleague, Thanks for your reply. Also thanks for not saying that if it had been a bear I would have been brutally mauled. I discovered the obvious after having looked in all the hard places. Thanks again!

The next public release will have the ability to exclude games involving human operated teams when quick simming a week. This means that if a game involves a team run by a human, that game won't be simmed out.

Note, this will only apply if you sim a week at a time. You can not advance to the next week in the schedule until all the games in that week are played. So you can't play out the full season, minus those games involving human teams, then go back and play the human team games.

You'll also be able to turn on or off animation of the ball as the field position changes. This will speed up the sim process for those that wish it.
