Day/Night attacks - use both 2 increase dmg?

Post by 1EyedJacks »

If I use both day and night attacks against an enemy base, does it increase the disruption or damage to the enemy over just day attacks alone?

Do you mean with different groups from the same base- or differently based air groups - that would not otherwise be attacking at all, or switching some currently day groups?

Generally night bombing isn't as good as it once was (when it was way too good). The effect should be to reduce the overall efficiency of the bombing, but maybe you increase fatigue and reduce the morale of the target.

I wouldn't switch groups that are doing well in day attacks to night, unless I needed to reduce combat losses.

I guess what I'm asking is, if I bomb a base both night and day does the game have a "continious bombardment" effect on troops... If I run bombers in the a.m., bombers in the p.m., and bombers at night, do the enemy units suffer more damage to disruption due to the continious attacks?

I would say it doesn´t increase damage because all your bombers will hit more if sent in at day alltogether, whereas the bombers at night won´t hit much. But it´s just a guess...

Bummer. I've been in the manual but it doesn't really cover this... Of course there seems to be a lot of "little things" that aren't covered in the manual... lol
