Turning point scenario (1st May '42 to 30th September '43)- Dixon vs Spence

Ok lets set the scene for our little encounter.

It is the 1st May 1942 and the Japs are about to embark on Operation 'MO'. We have selected a historical start so the Jap's boys are on their way to Gili Gili and Guadalcanal, supported by two CV's and a CVL. The American barbarians have two carriers on hand. The game is full map and will end in 30th September '43 with the Roosevelt/Churchill's devil's alliance's total defeat and the establishment of the His Imperial Majesties Greater East Asian Co-prosperity sphere.

I am playing the will of the hundred million and Spence will be doing his utmost to advise the arch criminals Roosevelt, Churchill and their lackey in China, Chiang Kai-Shek.

Sitrep 1st to 4th May 1942

Coral sea area

Light forces landed and secured all the interim objectives - Gili Gili, Tulagi and Guadalcanal. No American or Australian opposition was met. The two U.S. carriers are conspicious by their absence.


China

Large forces are moving on Yenen.

Sitrep 5th to 7th May 1942

Lautem, East Timor

Several enemy airstrikes with B-25's were repulsed with heavy losses. The continuing superiority of Japanese avaition is assured and new models are in the pipeline to maintain this situation.

Gili Gili

Several enemy airstrikes on friendly shipping were wiped out. A large number of the type P-39 fighters were destroyed. These obselete fighters are believed to be the last dregs of the desperate enemy. The P-39 fight has very poor manoverabilty at high altitude.

China

On the 8th May, a probing attack had some success. A large part of the city has been conquered, and a considerable number of enemy personnel killed or captured.

Port Moresby

A number of Allied convoys near Port Moresby were sighted and attacked by land air. Some freighters were sunk. The enemy cabal appear to be desperately reinforcing Moresby. The CV's Lexington amd Yorktown appear to be in the area.

Truk

The Kido Butai arrived in Truk on the 10th May. The TF has observed complete radio silence and the enemy do not appear to be aware of its presence. Orders to attack the enemy carriers have been issued.
