Strange Oddities...

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Strange Oddities...

1) Manual states there is a tutorial...there is none.
2) The Manual Picture of the main screen which shows the tutorial option on the right is called version 1.10...my download is 1.00. Is this correct? Was the tutorial left out?

[X(]Hmmm...i would have expected "some" response considering this is an SSG product. What? Nobody knows?[;)]

I too am curious about the tutorial. I have never played the DB games and even though the manual appears to be quite extensive I am feeling a little lost.

There is no Tutorial. We were hoping to do one, but because the Battlefront system is so different under the hood to the Decisive Battles system we would have had to recreate the entire Tutorial system, which would have massively delayed the game. Quite apart from creating further disappointment amongst people already waiting anxiously for release, we simply cannot afford, in brutal economic turns, to do that.

The screen shot was taken from an early development version of the game, and its my fault that it wasn't noticed and updated.

[:)]Thanks...I hate looking for ghosts[;)]. It makes complete sense and is precisely what i assumed. The manual is good enough, especially for those of us that have been playing SSG games since day 1.
The timing of release couldn't have come at a better time for me, personally...Thank you![&o]
