Game doesn't save music setting

Post by LarryP »

After setting the music setting to 70, when I come back to the game it is back to the default of 100. I checked the Options.txt file (Music volume = 70) and the music setting reflects the change I made which is "70." The game must not be reading this file correctly.

I told my wife a few weeks ago that I would no longer buy a Matrix game until at least the first patch is released. I blew it again!

I bought the downloaded version of BiN and and some others from Matrix.  I think this time I'm waiting the 2 to 3 weeks to buy the boxed version.  By then maybe some of these (what sound like minor) issues will get fixed.

I have 22 games from Matrix. I also buy games from Gamersgate, Paradox, Steam, and StrategyFirst. They all vary in how they deliver the finished product or first release, none the same. They all vary in how they handle customer support too. However, Matrix is the best I believe overall. One thing I really appreciate about Matrix is when you buy it, it's yours to save to CD, install, uninstall, whatever as long as you have the serial number. These other companies have their own way of doing things and it is not as easy. If you have the patience to wait for the boxed version you might save some trouble. I can't seem to restrain myself from this self inflicted pain. [;)]
