Multi-Player PBEM ????

Post by Tom G. »

I would like to try a three or four person per side PBEM game. I have an allied side that wants to play. Anyone interested in the Japanese side?

Hi Tom,
I would be interested, but how would you
split up the game between 6-8 players? That
doesn't seem like each player would have much
to do each turn, and would require a lot of co-
ordination between players.

That's too many players to be mailing the turn around to all of them. Try three allies and two Japanese. Even then multiplayer will take a while. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Thanks for replying. I will take all advice. What I had in mind originally was to split up the allied into four with the India theater, SW Pac, South Pac and Central Pac.

I am not sure about the japanese. Will take advice on how to split them up.

I had an idea that one player on each side will act as overall commander and make decisions on resource allocation (Airgroup and supply etc) but will probably just have the central pac commander for the allied and the Imperial GHQ for the japenese.

Any way I have a team of three for the allied (all fairly novice at this) if anyone wants to play the japanese.
