A Couple of Questions

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

A Couple of Questions

Post by Missouri_Rebel »

How can I use Interdiction?
On the bottom I have one area dedicated to carrier bombers which work fine. i.e. I can select a target and it will attack said target when prompted. To the left show 2 interdiction icons representing 2 seperate missions for the turn it would seem. Here is where the problem lies. I cannot select the buttons to order a mission for them. The pointer changes to the normal selection icon, the gunsight, but it doesn't allow me to select it. Why?
I am playing the Saipan scenario as the U.S.

Also, why can't the forces I land attack? I am on turn 2 and they still cannot attack.

Thanks in advance,

Doh! Found it. I have to land them first. Seems strange as they have moved a bit inland by turn 2. Hmmm. guess I will restart again.

Interdiction is a mission in itself.  By placing the icon on the map, you increase movement costs for wach hex in the range of the inredicting movement.  It's not an attack per se.

Thanks Bismark. I couldn't use it until I manually landed troops. Oh wll. Started it again and it is working fine. Just a mistake on my end.
