turn 142 vs loveman and the vast majority of the soviet army, ie all the units with the red writing and light orange background have disappeared (if im not making myself clear its the tile that most soviet units are coloured in). im at a loss at what to do. ive attached the event error that came with 142 to see if anyone can help

--There may be corrupted events in this scenario : Fire in the East 1941-1945
Elmer tried to fix them up
WITHDRAW_UNIT_EFFECT
Please open this scenario in the editor and check them.
**Problem with unit in event(236)
**Full Unit Name was : Soviet 12th Mech Corps, 23rd Tank Div

I feel your pain(well maybe just some of it),as a similar thing happened to me but earlier around turn27. My axis forces had the Bolshvicks on the ropes with Karkov and Sevestapol about to fall.I believe we had a patch issue in our game to explain it but I'm not sure. FITE is an outstanding game and I hope these bugs get resolved.

Which scenario rev are you using? Did you start in CoW and then switch to TOAW III?

Please send me the .PBL file that was sent to player 1 and the email for Player 1, and I'll try to fix it and send him a .SAL file and make sure that the units don't withdraw.

Thanks,
Ralph

Thanks Jonathan. Wow! 142 turns in less than 8 months? That's a pretty impressive pace you and your opponent have.

You will probably need to send one of the game files to Ralph, in order for him to fix it. I'll point him in the direction of this thread so that he is aware of it. Also, I hope you're keeping your old pbl and sal files. At least for the last couple of turns, since he'll need one of them to operate on.

i hope we can retrieve this as after survivin barbarossa and blau in very good health i was about to proceed to kick hi german A*s* lol [:D]

It's a problem with a couple of the larger scenarios and 3.0.1.17. I only saw it recently posted to the support forums. If anyone runs into the problem, they can email me at ralphtrickey (at) hotmail (dot) com and I'll do all I can to help.

Apologies,
Ralph

I'm confronted with this problem in my Vietnam scenarios as well, although they are both "TOAW III native".

Please help Cantona with this problem as I was hoping to stave off the advancing red hordes with skill and defensive tactics. This is a real problem and hope that our game can be saved. I started the game using version 3.0.0.17 of TOAW 3 for anyones info. Cantona is a good player and worthy opponent.
