CoI Downloads are back online!

Close Combat - Cross of Iron is based on Atomic Games award Winning Close Combat Series. Close Combat is a real time game were you take command of German or Soviet squads on the Eastern Front during World War II. This version is being developed by CSO Simtek and will include many new features and improvements.

Access them from your Command Centre. Please report any broken or corrupt links.

The Library is continually being updated with new tested mods (that does not necessarily mean new mods... [;)]).

Although there are many more Mods for CC3, we advise caution with indiscrimnate use unless you are very familiar with Mods and the CC system. Although some will probably work just fine, some will screw your installation or just give you bizarre behaviour, so if in doubt don't.

This (CoI) Download Library has only Mods that have been tested by us. That doesn't mean we support them unconditionally (how can we take account of what anyone might or might not do manually mucking around with Mods and the game files). However, it does mean you should have a very high level of confidence they will work with CoI if you use them as advised.

On the other hand, there are many CC3 resources that will work with CoI. For example, any CC3 Map (or map converted to CC3 format). For the Main CSO Community Downloads (everything CC), use the Downloads Link on the main CSO Site, or use this Link:

Keep in mind this is NOT the "CoI" Download library. Use the Command Centre to access that.
