Back up old leagues after update?????????

With the new update, will this reset the league that I created.....or, do I just back the present one and copy and paste the old one??????????

You should copy/paste any existing leagues you have so the game can import them, but I would also reset them. Resetting is good practice anytime you switch from one version of the game to another. I understand that people have invested time into their leagues and resetting that data is very annoying, but at this time I do not have another solution to ensure that league data is valid going from one version of the game to another.
 
Please do not copy/paste the maindata.mdb file. You just need to copy over any league files you have.
