Do you have file extensions hidden ?

my friend had the same problem but he had file extensions hidden so it showed windowmode.txt but it was actually windowmode.txt.txt

If you have file extensions hidden files like ScheduleEditor.exe would show as just ScheduleEditor

.exe is the file extension

Maybe all your files are set to use folders as icons for files but I'm not sure I'm just guessing

if you only have folders the game will not run

I wonder if the files got move into a folder.

Did you do a search to see where the file is?

Hi.

That file is not there by default. You need to created it so the game can start in window mode.

Simple go to that folder, Right click anywhere and select Create New->text document.  Then name the file windowmode.txt

I plan on adding the ability to switch between the two modes from within game, but for now, the game needs to have this start up file in place.

Thanks
David

David ,  i finally  got it to  work . Probally not way you wanted it to work . I went  to wordpad or  note pad . Created a file  then i saved it to my maxium  file . Started  the game up  and works .

Question if i  want to play it  in  full screen   whats  the  best  way . Do i  remove the text  file  or  what .

 Thanks again David

That works just as well. The end result is exactly the same.

To play full screen, just rename the file to something other than it is. _windowmode.txt will work just fine, and it allows you to find the file again quickly to name it back.

As I mentioned above, I'll be building this functionality into the game directly so this process will go away. I originally just did this to allow a quick and dirty work around for those on multiple monitor systems. And I wasn't sure what the performance impact would be out in the field.
