Forgive me if this has already been posted before ...

Details of Japanese Balloon Bomb.  Debris was found near my hometown after the war.  The weapon travelled further than 6000 miles.

How many turns would you have to wait in SPWAW for these to show up? [X(]

Don't forget the bat bomb.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat_bomb
The bat bomb idea was conceived by dental surgeon Lytle S. Adams, who submitted it to the White House in January, 1942, where it was subsequently approved by President Roosevelt.[1] Adams was recruited to research and obtain a suitable supply of bats.

Leave it to a dentist to develop such a diabolical weapon. [X(]

Were'nt there schemes also toying with lice, fleas and beetles carrying virus to be released over enemy cities (both the axis and allies partook in these experiments), yes? I thought I remember a flea bomb with bubonic plague considered...

There's a new rifle being tested that can not only fire around corners, but fire a grenade around the corner as well. It uses cameras or something so that the operator doesn't have to stick their neck out (literally) to get a bead, though the recoil on the thing has got to be horrendous. Or the thing's underpowered, one.
