Grouping Units?

hey guys

i remember you could group units together and activate them by a hot key, was always useful for mortars....how do i do this?

maybe in the manual, but too excited to read it fully

Yes, it is in the manual... [8|]
 
However:
 
Lassoo the group you want to assign a hot key to.  Press [Ctrl] + the number key (top of keyboard).  This assigns the number key to the group.  Press the number key only to select the group.
 
Or, Hold the shift key, and click each Team/Unit until you have chosen them all, and do the same key as above with the keys.
 
Also very excellent for AT Guns... ([Number Key]...[Click on target]...[Fire Key]).  He who fires first often prevails...
