Supreme Commander-RTS for Wargamer Except for setting

Post by bostonrpgmania »

After Demo, I preodered it...My gaming money saved for battlefront, now used for RTS
I know I will be flamed here but

1. Very large map, zoomed out view gives you a feel that you are playing operational level game with multiple fronts. Sort of HTTR feel as well
2. long production time so click fest not so much important as in others
3. Watching enemy troops coming --soooooo goooddd

Now be impartioal and enjoy truely next gen strategy game

Have to agree here! In last millennia Chris Taylor made best RTS game (Total Annihilation), and now he did it again in this millennia! BUT Supreme Commander is real resource hog and double core system is recommended. In fact SC is likely among first games (if not The First) designed for multiple processor cores. Thus I'll stick with demo for now and buy game maybe next year along with new PC.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

But recently I upgraded my ram to be 3 gig and it seems it helps
It supports dual monitor so I will exploit tht characteristic as well [:D]
