yet another query

Post by redimpz »

o.k. just need to confirm this one really, do i pit the mods into the plug ins folder ?
do i unzip them first or leave them as a .rar file?
i assume that maps are just unzipped to the maps folder, ok?
i bought this last night and not had much chance to look at it properly but i had a game with it and also came up with some observations.
1, i needed to set the screen scroll to slow or else it moves far too fast.
2, the installer was a bit misleading, after installing MS VM it asked me to reboot and then looked as if the whole process was going to repeat which prompted me to cancel an important part of the install, luckily i soon found out and re-installed the lot.
3, looks pretty good so far, thanks for the hard work guys.

All Cross of Iron Mods come as exe files.

All compatible mods are available through Command Centre\CSO Downloads.

The exe will install the Mod to your plugins folder.

Look in your plugins folde and you will see "ModName.cc3".... that's the mod.

Open ModSwap.

Use ModSwap to install the plugin from the \plugins folder into the game.

Maps

maps are zip file

Unzip the contents to your \maps folder.

There are no *.rar files available for CoI at this time.
