an unfair mystery ship - an interesting find yesterday
no prizes but can any ID this one I can only show a jpg

Looks like a coal barge of some sort that's being used for Beriev float planes...

Looks like a coal barge of some sort that's being used for Beriev float planes...
nope she was purpose built as a cve

Well..with cyrillic letters it'd indeed look like KOMMYHA..but since Y=U and H=N...[8D]

Russian patrol boat 1943 with 2 76mm guns (still in T34 turrets, and secondary arms of 12.7mm MG's.

Man, Babelfish is funny... The block of text under the Tsugaru has a reference to how she and the Okinoshima were sunk by US submarines. The quote is "both are heated by US submarines"...[:D]

The more I looked on that site, the more I realized their are ships of different nations!..There are subs from several, a few American, etc.
Very nice American WWI Destroyer, in color..

Yup, the vessel at the very bottom of the page the Tsugaru is on is the USS Terror...
