Just go ahead and re-install and say "ok" to that prompt.

It will install fine.

RE: Windows Vista

I have a problem with a Vista installation.

I downloaded the file, and during install, I got an error message regarding Axtive X failure, not registering, and after install completes, the program crashes when I click play. I have installed three times now, and I am comfortable with fact that it's nothing I'm doing.

Could download have been corrupted? Or is it still not functional with Vista??

Any help is appreciated.

Thank-you,

1. Reboot

2. Make sure you download and install the latest version of PureSim CE Here
(Be sure to right-click on the installer and choose "Run as administrator")

3. Then apply the most recent patch You can download the latest patch here.

This should have you up and running with the latest and greatest PureSim on Windows Vista

I followed the links, and after downloading both versions, I installed the first, followed the instructions for Vista compatibility, then installed the second version. I tried the same proedure for Vista compatibility, but it wasn't necessary.

Anyway, program appears to be running smoothly.

I am fortunate that my old lap-top, Dell XPS which is only about seven months old, still runs fine, but as mykids tend to dominate tghat machine, I purchased this one for my personal use, but if I get frustrated, I can still play PureSim on the XPS.

Thanks for the help.
