Steel Panthers III demo abort

Although this ran okay once, the other times
it aborted on start and I saw - Professional error, page fault. I have win98 celeron 300a BX. I also tried a DOS boot with the same abort. Gary referred me to the Gamers Net to get SP WW2 1935 -1939 when I suggested making a smaller version of World at War. But doesn't everything there require a SP CD in drive?
