Dual monitor display

Post by Roger Neilson II »

Ok, I have a new set up. Two 17" monitors side by side. They seem to be working fine in terms of allowing me to put different windows on the different screens. However when I try to run WITP in windowed mode the screen sits across the middle of the two monitors and an immediate error message comes up - Fatal Error 200. When I ok this the programme ends. I have simply copied the whole file structure across from my old computer - but thought this was fine.

Any ideas guys?

Something funny in witp.   Sometimes I will get a dialog box when loading witp that says  "error: can't get exclusive control of the screen" and it has to do with witp.exe.
Bet it is part of the same problem that you have with the dual monitor set up.

Looks like it was an install issue, sorted now anyway.

I´m using two monitors frequently, never had a problem with playing WITP in windowed mode. Works fine with WITP and some tools like witpdecoder for me. Maybe a problem with your graphics accelerator or driver.

It is sorted now with a little reinstallation... looks like it was missing some file... Yes, playing WITP in windowed mode on one screen whilst having all the intel and spreadsheet stuff on another is ace..... one of the main reasons i got the dual monitors.
