Close Combat - Cross of Iron is based on Atomic Games award Winning Close Combat Series. Close Combat is a real time game were you take command of German or Soviet squads on the Eastern Front during World War II. This version is being developed by CSO Simtek and will include many new features and improvements.

Hamachi is a program that allows you to arrange multiple computers into their own secure network just as if they were connected by a physical network cable.

Hamachi is fast, secure and simple. Its core version is also free.

I cant believe most people dont know about this software here.
With hamachi you dont have to turn off firewall or spend hours messing with your net to play COI.

Hamachi is worth a try.

Some people have reported successfully overcoming connection problems using it.

But...

you can successfully connect without it if you read your manual. (I know guys, we're men, and don't read manuals)
