Game Does not work at all now!

Ok, I un-installed all the versions of Forge of Freedom on my computer. Including the new Beta patch. I re-installed the game and now it does not work at all!

Where do I begin troubleshooting? It doesn't even get to the "loading screen" but crashes before that.

Since your original installation worked, the question becomes what changed on your system since then? Did you install any new software that might interfere with the installation? Did you change hardware or drivers? I would start by posting a DxDiag file for us, but I would also check to make sure your Flash installation is not messed up, if you're crashing right before the main menu.

My videos will no longer load with Matrix game videos because of Indeo Video no longer being compatible with Windows. So I have to delete all matrix videos. Then the game will load correctly. This may be your problem...

Do I just delete the .avi files then?

I will try it. No harms since nothing works.

Let's not use this thread, since there are two others devoted to XLegion's problems, and it's been superseded.
