How do I tell what edition I have

How do I tell what edition I have

I downloaded the complete 5.01 file, yet the
program says it's 4.0 when I start solitaire play.

Sounds like a bad down load or the updates are in the wrong folder.

Assuming you saved the install program, uninstall the game and reinstall. The menu page should show version 5.01. Don't forget to put your "saved" files in a temporary folder outside the game and transfer them back later.
