AAA coverage cumulative?

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. AAA coverage cumulative?

Is it worthwhile to have overlapping AAA coverage over important hexes? Is there a limit to the amount of AAA protection that any one hex may have?

No advantage to overlap.   AAA is an on/off factor.
