AUTO FILL MUST GO...

how many times have you been setting your depth charts, scrolling up and woops, hit the auto fill? this has happened to me several times! so annoying because there is no way to reset your depth charts back to zero or to what you wanted(as in...all 0's for positions). it doesn't seem to matter how you set your "roster view depth chart" either. (somehow the game likes to put WR in the TE slot, and the CT (centers) never even make it in the depth chart.) creating your own depth charts takes forever because you can't click and drag, and when you lose all your hard work, you get pretty annoyed....again.

in my opinion, it has to GO!..or it needs to be seriously re-vamped.

someone else have an opinion on this?

Set the order in roster view and then go back to depth chart view and then hit auto fill

thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work correctly.  still getting no CT, no TE, and the RBs are not correct.

Yeah the CT has been brought up before but not sure about the Tight End but the Autofill button still saves time regardless especially if you have a ton of formations [:)]

just need to make a few minor changes after you hit auto fill [8D]

for some reason the RB i have set as the FB does not fill that role.  how exactly do you put your guys in order on the roster depth chart?

You go to roster view

You go to a certain position like Quarterback and move your first string QB to the very top then your second stringer is 2nd to the top etc.

Once you have everything done then you go back to the depth chart view and hit auto fill

in your case set your fullback as the 2nd stringer (2nd to the top)

Hmm not sure but it's been working for me so far.  I still need to test it on a custom formations with 11 men I haven't done that in for a while, I will try it tomorrow [:)]

Everything works fine on 8 man formations but there's no FB in 8 man rules.

i'm not sure either.  i thought the auto fill was a great idea but, to me, it does not do what i need it to.  maybe there should be better depth charts like on madden.  until then i'll slowly (because that's all i can do) build my depth charts and hope to god i don't accidently hit the auto fill.

This is what I was talking about in my PLEASE SIMPLIFY thread.

If the AI isn't intelligent, or the positions cannot be designated we get problems; however, I can fix my team but the CPU may have strange lineups.

I've not noted many issues but the positions versus the depth charts versus the formations create quite a quandry at times.

Check to ensure the team is human controlled.

MAXFB sets itself back to the first team if you go out of the team menu and back in...just make sure your on you team...it can be tricky at times because I tend to assume the team is mine and it is not.

Selfcentric I guess.

This would be wishlist item for me...make the game stay on my team when I go to in and out of the team screens.
