Direct Fire in Defense

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Direct Fire in Defense

Post by Snowbart1943 »

On page 57 in the manual it says the blue dice on a unit's defense bar is the Direct defensive fire it would roll. I was under the impression that the blue defensive dice was only for close combat defense, as it explains under the Arty unit description section.

Does this mean that if a Direct Defensive fire unit is attacked by Direct Fire, it can in fact fire back Directly?

No, should only take place during close combat.
