VICIOUSCIRCLE,
Welcome to the MaxFB world.

First the standard stuff. Make sure the game is installed and then apply the most recent update
Patch v.1.3.149 (44mb) which is in the Members area under 'Patches & Updates"
You only ever need to apply the most recent update. They are individually all inclusive of previous patches, so no need to install multiple ones.

However, if that is already done, check the following:

On the League Screen above the standings see what it says by Current Season
If its a 0, you need to make sure all your settings under Edit League are as you want them then hit New Season. That will set you at season 1

If you are already at season 1, look to see if the draft button is greyed out or red and selectable. If its red you need to click it and hold a draft, if you already drafted or if you chose no draft, then the next button to look at is Training Camp. If its still red and selectable, click it to run camp. Training camp is the last process you need before your season is ready to play.

If you have already run Training Camp, then scroll to the league schedule screen, click on the first game and then you should be able to select 'Simulate' or 'Play'

You can actually click on any scheduled game and choose your play or sim options, but you do have to click on one of them

Hope this helps. You will find as time goes on its a fantastic game.

PS

I'll always remeber the first time I purchased, received and installed MAXFB...it was a long time coming (since CFL '99 way back when I first discovered Wintervally) and well worth the wait.

The league you're having difficulty with will have a file in the game folder with an mdb extention. Something like lge_ABV.mdb (where ABV is the abbreviation of your league).

Please zip that up and send it to the above email. I can see what's going on internally.

thanks

Hi.

I'm sorry to have to ask this, but can you please resend that file? My email has been problematic most of the weekend, and anything that was sent to the server between Thursday night and about 1/2 hour ago, likely is lost.

Please try again.
thanks
