6.1 Upgrade Questions

6.1 Upgrade Questions

I don't mean to sound redundant here, but just a few cursory questions.

1. If there is no steel.prf in my save folder after installing 6.1, are there any other steps necessary to avoid upgrade conflicts?

2. Do my saved games on file upgrade as well, or do I need to restart them to take advantage of the upgrade?

3. Do I, instead, need to delete my saved games to avoid upgrade conflicts?

4. Are there any other obvious points I am missing in this that I need to be aware of to avoid upgrade conflicts?

The 6.1 upgrade deletes steel.prf for you - when you start the game it is rebuilt by the new executable.

Saved games should not be affected. THey should continue on fine.

Didn't know that 6.1 deletes the troublesome steel.prf for us. Finally conflict avoidance 101 made even easier. Hurray
