Is this THE solution to the COMPAQ problem (it was "shared" video RAM on COMPAQ if I recall) that has apparently successfully installed PACWAR and WIR get graphics/maps/charts "fuzzy" and unreadable( although the game loads)?

So,how does one get a COMPAQ BIOS update? online dowload? gotta buy one (where?)? install it? how is that done?

I had this problem on my Dad's win 98SE Presario, despite having plenty of that "memory available for programs( over 600kb)
