GOT and Spartan

Post by kaleun »

Thinking about getting these babies.
If I understand it correctly, if you have GOT and Spartan they will play under the GOT screen.
Is that correct?

I would also want further clarification on Chariots. Is this one an earlier or later release as far as slitherine goes?

One last question: As far as empire building, which is the better game?

Thanks. I'll go back now to the 'War in the Pacific forum' where I belong

The order of development was
Legion
Chariots of War
Spartan
Gates of Troy

Each new iteration has extra features, though some preferred the simpler essence of the original game, others prefer teh more options offered in the latter games.

If you have GoT & Spartan they will bolt together so you can play all the Spartan scenarios with the new features offered in GoT.

As for which is better, its hard to say as it depends what you like. They all have somethign to offer :)

How similar, or different, is the empire building in GOT to Chariots of war?
I've read COW described as Civilization with Battles. Is this similar in GOT?

Same? Pretty much. Its a more advanced system w/ more resources that are available/needed. I like all the games from COW to GOT.
