Auto Victory

Post by tocaff »

Once the game computes that there is an auto victory on December 31, 1942 do we have the option of continuing the game or is it an auto ending? I've never looked into this before and it's always been conceded in games I've played before the date involved.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

No Idea.

However, I suspect it does not give you a continuation option as this seems adverse to the idea of an Auto victory.
That said, I have played several other computer games where the game has ended in this fashion, and I have wished that I could have played on!
Sometimes it's nice to see if a plan works out ( beyond winning that is ).

Well I've discovered that auto victory ends the game with no option to continue.  This info was supplied to me by Paul Miller so thanks to him and his team this weekend.
