strange crash

Okay, so I get the game today, and it plays fine for the first few hours, but after I start the game, and then I start a mission, it locks up, then terminates. I read the errlog, and it says that "WARNING: Ship 'Avengers' type 'Falcon' has 5 wep groups (max=4)" twice intermittently while it is generating the mission, and then the error it cites as the cause of the crash is:

After which is just the words "program terminated"

Has anyone else had a problem like this. If you need me to post the whole error log just let me know.
