Hope I am not duplicating any threads, but these games occured to me. The problem of course is that the soucre game is owned by another company and they may not want computer versions released.
1. Axis and Allies - I would love to see the current board game version of Axis and Allies remade for the computer. Basically an update of the original Hasbro Interactive Axis and Allies game as opposed to the more recent Axis and Allies that was an RTS. Board games on computer are always a lot of fun and generally quicker.
2. All the other old Gamemaster Series games. Fortress America and Samurai Swords come to mind as great games that could use a computer version. Given that at least FA is very hard to find anymore, it could be a popular seller.
3. Final Liberation and Chaos Gate. Both are based on the Game Workshop Warhammer 40,000 game with FL being Epic scale and CG being Squad level. Two great original turn based games that you just can't find anymore. Plus the whole Warhammer universe attitude if pretty fun. They were both originally through SSI I believe. Redoing them to modern standards and expanding them to contain other army's and units would be great. All the new Warhammer games are RTS. Sigh.
4. Lord of the Rings Risk - Hasbro has a fun game here based on basic risk but with a lot of options that could easily be modeled in a computer version. Of course now you have both licensing issues with Hasbro, New Line Cinema, and the Tolkien estate.
That is it for now. If I think of others I will add them.
Can you tell I like my board games but don't have anyone to play them with.
Thanks,
Duncan
