Last minute request

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Last minute request

I do not know if it is too late to suggest this or not
Would it be possible to add to the raid summary screens the number of planes lost expressed as a %?
That would be very helpful.
Maybe just to me...but I guess its worth asking for

But if it does work, I agree that it would be a nice touch.

Im not sure I understand your question

I think Sarge is saying that the raid reports on the number of enemy a/c aren't accurate. The actual figures for each raid aren't reported to the defending player. I suppose they equate to the number of claims not the actual number of kills. So any percentage calculated from these figures would also be inaccurate.

Of course, the number of your aircraft lost should be accurate. Calculating the % of enemy a/c lost should be a non-starter of an idea, as you neither know accurately enemy losses nor know what the enemy committed to battle. But calculating friendly % losses should be possible...

...should be so possible, in fact, that you should be able to do it with a desk calculator, or pen and paper, or in your head, as I already do myself. Do we really need the computer to do it for us?

Your losses are reported accurately in the raid reports, what I was saying was those of your enemy are not reported accurately (rightly so in my opinion). Of course calculating the percentage would be easy. My point was that calculating a figure from inaccurate data will give you an inaccurate result.

Im not asking for a % report on enemy losses

If I send 300 B-17s to attack a target in Essen, it would be nice to have a quick and easy % of my losses on that raid and every other raid.
As the German player if I send 75 planes to intercept that raid it would be nice to have a % of my interceptor losses.

That is all im asking for.
% of losses mean much more to me when im playing that the straight numbers themsevles.
I can use a calculator to figure it out but it takes a little while and would be much nicer if the game did it for me.
