Msus Libya Advance
1300 Hours

Well here we go with another year of this dam war. It seems as if it will never end. We are to advance on the Italian line at 1 Oclock. It will be a very hot one. B company is on the north flank of A who has the center. Once again C has the honor of moving forward on the south map edge. A in the center has at least 800 yards to go before reaching there objectives. They will have to move mostly across flat open land. Will try to have there support guns cover there approach. Also will have the heavy stuff precede them with a through bombarment of the march route.

Mean while C will procede to the south objectives and they are at least 900 yards from where they start. They too will be moving across dry open land. I have placed all the tanks we have to there left in the hopes they can give them some cover. Goin to be a tough one as the Italians will see us coming from a long way off.

We have been moving rather well so far. A and B in the North have moved at least 250 yards in the last 30 minutes. They have come up against at least 20 tanks plus infantry. Have taken out somewhere around 8 of the tanks plus several infantry and mmg squads. Also found and took out 3 Brixia morters.

Mean while C co in the south has managed to move around the same distance and are within 650 yards of there objectives. They have come upon a large force of Italian tanks sitting on and around there objective area. I believe the last count we had there was at least 15 tanks there. Our tanks gunners have tore at least 9 of those tanks to pieces. Our gunners are shooting and hitting there tanks at around a mile and a half. There has been some really grand shooting frrom our side. Most of the shots we take are always at least 1000 yards.

Our losses are slight less then 50 men and only one Portee ATG has been taken out on our side. Our 8 inch guns have really been laying it on the enemey troops and so far have not heard too much from them. Several of the enemy squads have been putting up the white flag and have been turning themselves over to our front line.

Our main job is to advance against the Italian line and push them south towards Agedabia. We are to try and push them into the VII legioneers setting up defences there. So far it is working as they are starting to pull back from us here at Msus.

The Italians have given up and are fleeing the field. We really did a number on them today. Our shooting was spectaculer. We couldnt miss it seemed. We took out 1906 men along with 43 pieces of artty and 104 of those tin cans they call tanks.

We lost 187 brave men one artty and 9 of our tanks. The tanks were mostly lost to very well hidden 47 and 37mm atgs. There tank gunners couldnt hit there ass with both hands.

This had to hurt them today. They just cant keep losing all this equipment and personal. It seems that they just dont have any good commanders and the ones they do have dont know nothin about war fare it seems. They sent there tanks in first then brought up there infantry. By the time the infantry got to the battle most of ther tanks had been ripped apart. Then the infantry had nothin to fight our tanks with when they did get in the fight.

We have been told we are to stay here at Msus and to advance against the germand next month. This is something we all have been waiting to hear. We are ready to face the Germans now. We have 4 battles under our belts and have started to get somewhat of a veteran core. We feel our tanks will do well against the German armor. Our tank gunners are becoming the best shots in any mans army.
