CE5 seems to have caused a CTD - Help!

Post by JungleJim99 »

This morning I installed CE2 and the patch - CE5. I finished the 1956 season (Yankees swept the Braves), updated the databases, and started the amateur draft. I picked a couple of players and then clicked the 'Skip to End' button. When I did so, this is the error that I got:

Run-time error '3021':
Application-defined or object-defined error

I clicked the 'ok' button on the erro pop-up, and the game crashed to the desktop. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke event, I re-launched the game, followed the same steps, and again received the error and the game crashed to the desktop again. I then tried the same steps two more times and had the same error each time.

Since I have never gotten that error before today and I just installed the two updates, I can only assume that one of the two updates has caused the problem. Any suggestions or solutions?

Thanks!

Yea, I would re-install CE2, followed by CE5 then re-boot.

It looks like something didn't get installed correctly.
