Coming Fury vs. Coming Fury (Balanced)

Post by Scotters1 »

I didn't see anything in the readme about the two versions of the Coming Fury scenario in the new patch, so I apologize if I missed it. Is it safe to assume that Coming Fury scenario with out parenthesis is unbalanced and gives the North their historic economical advantages similar to Southern Steel?

Correct - Southern Steel and Coming Fury now both have the historical economies. Standard Campaign and Coming Fury (Balanced) have the more balanced economies. Standard Campaign also has an OOB that gives more benefit to the South, so it's overall the most even match. As of 1.9.16, Southern Steel and Coming Fury are the two most historical scenarios as they are historical in both OOBs and economies.

I'm working on new code that will allow larger descriptions of the scenarios to be displayed in the scenario chooser window.  We'll try to get further descriptions into the release notes for the gold version of the patch.
