Hey all my helos keep getting walloped by WP hav got airmobile units but dearnt transport them so send them by train am i just being daft ?????or does this happen to others seems that having an airmobile div as reinforcements is a bit pointless.
The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

You must have a very substantial local air superiority in order to move units by air, or by helicopter, without them being shot out of the skies. If not, then don't expect to get them too far before they get turned back or evaporated.

You have to have the enemy's AS at practically 0 in order to do airmobile moves successfully, as your own aircraft do not help you out with air mobile, as opposed to transport by aircraft.
Is this planned to be changed in the future, James?
To repeat history in a game is to be predictable.

Makes sense to me in the game sense but in real terms low flying helos over freindly territory would have a good chance of getting through???
