Its turn 5 the PO Germans are starting to push into belgium,i have thrown out a cav screen and am pushing Belgian forces forward to the meause in the north and namur in the south of belgium am i being optimistic have repulsed one German assault inflicting 25% casualties but for the most part my lines are thin, what is a good strategy for the Belgians ??? any idea`s
The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

In the paper and cardboard version, i tried having the Belgians stand their ground. They were ripped to shreds. The same seems to be true in this version. Im currently up to about turn 16 (vs Elmer). I pulled the belgians back to Antwerp and Namur as soon as i could, without abandoning Liege. Anything caught in the open is sure to be devoured by the main german armies, which will come down the roads at you soon. Even the BEF is having a hard time of it in my game. As, indeed, they had historically. I suspect their generals cared more about their soldiers than i do about my virtual ones though...

Its turn 15 now mobilization complete Germans have attacked forward Belgian forces and the BEF cav has made contact with German spearheads, there forces look far stronger than mine so think i will be hard pressed soon.I think pulling back may be a good idea i will see how things go.
