Installing with Vista

I've tried to install this game in vista, and so far it's failed every time.
The insller menu pops open and I select install and the disc just spins.

Any advice or does this game work in vista?

i installed with vista no problem by right clicking the shortcut and runing it as administrator...

but when i start the game it says my CDkey was invalid... i've tried several times now, with and without the patch and i always get an ivalid cdkey error when i click play starshatter...

forth times a charm, i guess. Everything seems to be in working order, just having trouble applying the patch now...
