Is this game more like the old Flat top game tactical? Thinking about buying it.

fun vs the ai, I won midway both sides, but got my clock cleaned at coral sea as US.. easy interface, somewaht dated graphics, but ok. all said I would rate this a 9 out of ten.. and the real time player vs plaer would be good.. bonuis is the editor
