Crash to Desktop

Hello all ---

I am having a problem with my patched-up install. I am playing a game as the Confederacy and when I get to late March 1862, the game just freezes up and stops. I have tried going to previous saves at earlier dates and move differently, but it still consistently crashes. Anyone have any ideas?

That's odd. Can you give us any details about what is going on in the game at the time? Is there anything that's always going on (e.g., a siege), or is everything different each time?

Also, just to make sure, you're playing with the new patch, right?

Would you mind posting your save game files?  Please zip .sve and .rep files and then post the zip for, or send it to me at ericbabe@west-civ.com.
