Pranged?

Post by tgb »

I notice the status of some of my aircraft is "pranged on landing". What does this mean, exactly?

I probably should have put this in the manual but 'pranged' = 'crashed'. It's British slang, that was used here in Australia as well.

I wondered.... Just picked this game up and noticed this rather odd, not real English word. [:D][:D]

I once read an account of battle in the Pacific Theater written by an Aussie and he used the phrase "sly grogging"????

I had to ask Dave O'Conner of Panther Games (an Aussie) to interpret for me.

It is a term referring to the reselling of U.S. booze rations at exhorbitent rates reaping obscene profits.
