What does the future hold for Carriers At War?

Will added functionality (e.g. Strike Transfer) be added as patches and ongoing updates or held over for a a new game?

Will new scenarios be available on an ad hoc basis that can be used by Carriers At War, or will they be saved up for Carriers At War II? Will there be a Carriers At War II? Will there be a Carriers At War Construction Kit?

All excellent questions but as the game has been out for such a short time we really don't have concrete answers. We will keep everybody informed as best we can when there some actual info to relate.

I'm sure everyone here is thrilled that the game seems to be doing very well. I assume this is the case since the game is sold out until June 25th (according to the Matrix website).

I hope you keep going with it. This is the kind of game that appeals to both serious wargamers and casual ones. I personally just can't get into WITP or UV, just too dry for me and feels more like work, not to mention not having the time to devote to them. This is exactly what I wanted in a naval game.

I would add that if there was any current wargame that should be in stores, this is the one.

I agree completely with LitFuel. This game is perfect for those of us with neither the time or patience for WITP or UV, as fine as those games are. It is a godsend!
