Can someone tell me about the mythical site referenced on this page, 'www.johntiller's.com' ?

The only bona fide site I can find is http://home.hiwaay.net/~tiller/ and that doesn't have a forum AFAICT.

they used function Find and Replace for all occurencies of Talonsoft  (original name was Talonsoft Campaign Series) with John Tiller's...
in original there was www.talonsoft.com  [:D]
