German version

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Hello,

will matrixgames (or a distributor in europe) release a german version of this nice game in the future?

We don't have any plans for that right now, not to say it won't happen in the future but it's not currently in the works.

The game is fairly visual though, with lots of icons and numbers more than lots of text. I think it would be quite playable with only a basic knowledge of English.

Yes we are working on a German version but no ETA and we have not signed a German publisher yet :)
