Installed, Intros and then nothing....

Post by MilRevKo »

Installed, Intros and then nothing....

I purchased the game and down loaded the game zip file and the most recent patch. I open the game file, DirectX, and then the patch. I started up the game and it ran through the Matrix intro and the 2x3 Games intro with music and all. Then nothing. For the most part a black screen with music in the background. I let it sit for about 15 minutes then checked to see if the was responding, it was not.

I am running it on a 2005 Dell Inspiron 1150 2.6ghz, 1024meg, XP Home, integrated chip set, over all the system has no known problems.

I did a restart, uninstalled, reinstalled WPO v1.00 and tried to run it w/o the patch (did not work, same problem) and then reinstalled the patch ( did not work, same problem).

Any suggestions?

THX in advance,

THX for interest...

"After some research we found that the problem is with your integrated video card. It does not fully support “Transform & Lighting”, (T&L) I have included a link to Intel’s support page and have also copy and pasted the information below. Unfortunately until Intel comes up with some new drivers to support T&L a lot of games will not run. Please contact us again if you have any further questions."

I have now that problem, too. The game was ok but now it freeze after the first twoo intros (matrix and 2by3). I think the problem is with the last NVIDIA drivers.

Try going into your WPO folder and locating the subfolders SOUND and VIDEO. Then rename them to NOSOUND and NOVIDEO, respectively.

Hello,

the problem is solved, because I have changed the name of the Video and Sound directory in NOVIDEO and NOSOUND, in the
WPO directory. So you come directly in the game menu.

Thank you very much!
