Any Interest in a new AAR?

Post by Russian Guard »

If I fire up the game as is (1.2.26) and play a few years of the 1805 scenario, anyone interested in a play-by-play?

Given that the game is up for a refit, it might be pointless, but thought I'd ask. I recently fired the game up and boy was I rusty - played the Austrians in 1805 and Napoleon stomped my arse. THAT was something that hadn't happened in a loooong time.

So now I'm hankering for a rematch, will try the Austrians again, see if I can hold off the Grand Armee.

LOL I'll take that as a NO ;-)

Too bad. You got over 200 hits but no one encouraged you.
So, months after you asked: I would love to read your AAR.

Heh.... I started playing COG again as part of our work on the expansion pack and Napoleon stomped my arse when I was playing Austria too!  I'm going to have to lower the difficulty level.

Yes I'd very much like to see your AAR. I'm debating whether to order this game, your AAR might help me decide.[:D]

Oh, hell, there used to be AAR's, but after 365 days the Matrix forum makes them invisible. Note to self: in the future, remember to <bump> all AAR's and other threads worth keeping.

You can still pull them up Gil (and bump them if you like). At the top right of the post list for a forum is the filter setting which defaults to 365 days. Just change it to "all" and you'll see the older threads.

Well I'll be damned. There they are.

Well, Peek101, I hope you'll settle for an old AAR or two, if no one starts a new one.

LOL I had long ago stopped watching this thread, since no one had replied or commented in such a long time.

Now all of a sudden there's activity [:D] Belated thanks for that.

Well I am a bit burned out on CoG at the moment and have been eagerly awaiting CoG II..not sure I have the fire to manage the work for an AAR at present.

Sorry all!
